| Likes | An Italian Mercedes, with style to match performance. Supercharged, 469-hp V8 whisks you to 155 mph, but I bet German-spec cars do 180. Taut-handling air suspension, giant brakes, paddle-shifters, great exhaust, concert hall stereo, trendy Kompressor. |
| Dislikes | Computer in my test car had periodic ESP failure. More of a 2-crush-2 than a 4-seater. AMG 19-inch wheels touch curbs before tires do, keeping your wheel refinisher happy. |
| Verdict | Visually striking, people who don’t care about cars ask about this one. Expensively overqualified for daily use, but tractable and with better visibility than you’d think. Make it larger, add $250k to the MSRP, and it’s what the Maybach should have been. |
