It was quite the breathtaking scene Sunday at Lacy Park. Car enthusiasts – young and old – walked the green lawns of Lacy Park to appreciate the oasis of immaculate cars. This year’s “Best In Show” trophy went to Tony Vincent’s 1939 Delage D8-120 Cabriolet.
Top honors were awarded to nine cars:

Dapper emcees Dave Kunz and Ed Justice, Jr. kept the audience entertained with their limitless knowledge of cars while 80 judges meticulously voted on the 28 classes. This year’s show saw a 13 percent increase in showcased cars with 250 entrants. Staples such as Ferrari, Cadillac, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz lined up along with Aston Martin, Aston Healey, Marmon and Rolls-Royce. Even Jay Leno popped in with his Duesenberg.
“We had a great field of cars this year,” says Aaron Weiss, Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the San Marino Motor Classic. “Strong community support coupled with great turnout made our second year much grander. I’m sure this year’s Motor Classic went as well, if not better, than last year’s. We could not have done what we did without the help of our dedicated volunteers, entrants and hosts. ”
Numbers are still being totaled for proceeds raised for the two benefiting charities – the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA and the Rotary Club of San Marino. The third annual San Marino Motor Classic is set to return Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Lacy Park. For more information and the full list of winners, visit www.sanmarinomotorclassic.com.
