A 1954 Chevrolet Corvette roadster was high sale at $96,800 at Leake’s Dallas Spring auction from April 15-17 at Dallas Market Hall. A total of 497 lots crossed Leake’s two-lane auction block, and 59 percent of them sold.

Leake debuted its new auction set, which features two lanes of cars, hard walls, LED screens, effect lighting and new graphics.

Other top sellers were:

A 1968 Shelby GT350 at $91,300

A 1969 Shelby GT500 Fastback at $79,200

A 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split-Window at $73,700

A 1964 Lincoln Continental convertible at $66.000

“This was a busy weekend for the collector car auction world,” said Richard Sevenoaks, president of Leake Auction Company. “In addition to our auction, there were two additional auctions taking place, which split our seller and buyer base. Despite this split, we had a solid auction. There were cars that outperformed our estimates and expectations.”

Preparations are now underway for Leake’s flagship auction in Tulsa, OK, from June 10-12 in the River Spirit Expo. Read More.
