Win $500 — Predict the Monterey totals!

DSC_3734
SCM is having a contest — predict the total sales of Monterey. If you’re the winner, we’ll send you $500 PLUS a three-year DELUXE subscription to SCM! You’ll also be named the SCM Monterey Guru of 2016.

It’s simple. Enter your number below (last year’s total sales were just under $400m).

The person with the closest number to the final sales — without going over — will be the winner. Sales totals will be as verified and published by SCM, and will include all sales results released by the Monterey auction companies.

Also answer the following optional question, which will serve as a tie-breaker: How many cars will be sold in total? (Last year’s total was 860.)

BONUS! When you enter, you’ll receive an immediate download of our exclusive Guide to Monterey as well as the the SCM weekly newsletter!

Entries close at noon on Sunday, August 21st — the Gooding auction that evening will provide the final results for the weekend. You may submit multiple entries.

I was very surprised there was no mention of Peter Revson in any of the articles about the “Seinfeld” IROC Porsche. He was a great driver and surely added cache to the car.
