The high sale at Artcurial‘s seventh Sur Les Champs sale on November 2 was a 1964 Aston Martin DB5, sold at $1.26m. Sales totaled $7,709,598, with 80% of all lots sold. This brings Artcurial’s 2014 motorcar totals close to $66m, representing an increase of 67% over the previous year.
Note: a previous Artcurial press release reported an incorrect price for Lot 234, a 1974 Porsche Carrera 2.7 Targa, and an incorrect sales total. The correct price is $313,678. Sales totaled $7,709,598.
