St. Charles, IL, June 23, 2008 — Bloomington Gold, America’s original and longest running Corvette show has announced that it will have at its show three major groups of Corvettes never before displayed at any event together.

The NEW 2009 ZR1: Tom Hill, Corvette Plant Engineer at Bowling Green, is bringing TWO 2009 ZR1s to the show – a Jet Stream Blue and a Victory Red! The Red ZR1 will be a hands-on car and is a pre-production model as the ZR1 will not be built at the factory until August. Tom will be available to discuss this most powerful and expensive Corvette ever built. Corvette dealers will be at the show to take orders. In addition, Chevrolet will also display the 2008 Indianapolis Pace Car and the E85 Ethanol Corvette.

The L88 Invasion at the Special Collection: While Chevrolet will be displaying the newest high-performance Corvette, Bloomington Gold will be displaying the largest collection of L88s ever assembled. On display there will be 57 of the 216 L88s ever made, the highest horsepower Corvettes previously produced. Each of these Corvettes boasts over 560 HP!

The 35th Anniversary Bloomington Gold Show will be held at Pheasant Run Resort and Spa, St. Charles, IL on June 26 – 29 from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm.
