The Sotheby’s Australia selling exhibition of Important Collectors’ Motor Cars by Public Tender will be held in Sydney 22-25 June.  The selected group of vehicles is of the highest calibre reflecting some of the most iconic domestic and international vehicles available in the country.

European marques are represented by an exceptional 1957 Mercedes Benz 300SL Roadster with original luggage by Karl Baisch, the Ex-Jim Richards 1999 Australian GTP Championship winning Porsche 993 RSCS and a beautiful Bugatti Type 37.  The US contributes a very rare 1933 Reo Flying Cloud Coupe delivered new to Queensland and a multi-award winning 1949 Buick Convertible Super 56C.  The home front meanwhile provides probably the most revered car ever to be produced in Australia, the race-bred Ford Falcon XY GT-HO Phase III.

All of the cars on offer are in excellent condition and have been specifically chosen for a combination of their provenance, condition, originallity, desirability, history, rarity and importance.
