Snodgrass, longtime anchor of Brumos
SCM has just learned that Bob Snodgrass died in his sleep last night of an apparent heart attack. Snodgrass was CEO of Brumos Motor Cars and team owner of Brumos Racing, Vice Chairman of the Grand-Am Sports Car Series, and a fixture each year at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.

Under his leadership, Brumos earned the title “Premier Dealer” for 16 consecutive years, eventually becoming the nation’s leading Porsche dealership. On the track, Brumos racers consistently challenged for wins in the Grand-Am series, and the traditional #58 and #59 Brumos cars were always popular with fans.

Those who knew Snodgrass personally will recall and appreciate his dedication to motorsport, his great enthusiasm for all things automotive, and his ability to tell wonderful stories. The community of automotive enthusiasts is poorer this morning.
