LEXINGTON, KY—Featured on this year’s Keeneland Concours d’Elegance schedule is an appearance and autograph signing by Bob Tullius, the legendary Jaguar racer.

As a founder and former member of the Group 44 racing team, Tullius brought Jaguar racing cars to fame and success in the 1970s. Tullius’ team is credited with reintroducing Jaguar to racing and international wins.

Jaguar and Tullius are reunited again at Keeneland, at the fourth annual Concours d’Elegance. Tullius is the featured guest at the event, and Jaguar is the guest marque.

As in previous years, 100 nationally and internationally acclaimed Concours automobiles will be judged to receive the coveted trophy sponsored by horse farms throughout the region. Cars exhibited at the event fall into one of 14 judged categories.

Also part of the festivities is a special, “Grand Classic Event” exhibit with the Indiana Region’s Classic Car Club of America (CCCA) featuring limited edition cars produced in 1925-1948. Among these are Duesenberg, Mercedes, Bentley and Packard. The Grand Classic Event boasts a collection of cars at the pinnacle of design, engineering and manufacturing of the era. Additional rare and exotic cars will be on showcase in the Car Club Paddock and special interest areas.

The four-day event, best known for the Saturday Concours d’Elegance, also includes additional festivities mixing Kentucky art, culture and elegance. All proceeds from the Keeneland Concours benefit the Kentucky Children’s Hospital and WUKY public radio.

“It is our hope and our goal that the Concours d’Elegance provides everyone with a unique experience—a mix of art, flair, design, sounds—and of course—a cause,” said event chairman Tom Jones. “There are many reasons to be excited about the 2007 Concours, and we are looking forward to hosting another outstanding weekend in the Bluegrass.”
