Tacoma – International auctioneers, Bonhams & Butterfields, is pleased to announce the second Annual America’s Car Museum® auction featuring property from the LeMay Collection on Friday September 10, 2010 at the Bicentennial Pavilion at the Hotel Murano in Tacoma, Washington.

Following on the success of the inaugural sale in 2009, Bonhams & Butterfields is looking forward to returning to the area and supporting the museum.

Highlighting the 2010 auction is a 1935 Steyr Super two-door convertible, to be offered without reserve. A 4-cylinder engine powers the highly collectible motorcar with a 4-speed manual transmission in racing red with black fenders and details. The 1935 Steyr Super two-door convertible is expected to bring $25,000-35,000 on September 10.

Additional motorcars on offer from the LeMay Collection will include a 1958 Edsel Citation Sedan (est. $6,000-$8,000); a 1954 Wolseley Police car (est. $12,000-$15,000) and one of the last produced Studebaker Avanti cars from 1964 (est. $10,000-$12,000). All automobiles from the LeMay Collection will be presented at no reserve.

The sale will also feature vehicles of note from other consignors. Highlights will include a 1936 Packard Dietrich Convertible Sedan (est. $75,000-$85,000); 1933 Lincoln KB Victoria Coupe (est. $80,000-$100,000); 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible, one family owned from new (est. $14,000-$16,000); a well-restored 1953 Mercedes-Benz 300 Sedan and a 1961 Ferrari 250 GTE Coupe (est. $95,000-$110,000) as well as several Jaguar XKE and Porsche models, among others.
