California Auto-Show Provides High-Tech Newsroom

CHICAGO – October 18, 2004 – For the first time in its nine-year history, the 2004 California International Auto Show, being held October 27-October 31 at the Anaheim Convention Center, will provide automotive journalists with immediate access to press information with the introduction of electronic news distribution and a new electronic newsroom hosted and maintained by Newswire One. With just the click of a mouse, media will be able to review press materials and download high resolution images from convention sponsors and exhibitors, as well as access the show’s website featuring top convention highlights and news.

“This new newsroom will help us get out information about the show quickly to the media covering the latest updates and activities from the show,” said Todd Leutheuser, Executive Director of the Southland Motor Car Dealer Association, the show’s co-director. “In addition to offering the standard press materials and high resolution images, our new electronic newsroom has the capability to provide journalists access to broadcast quality audio and video all from one convenient source.”

The Electronic Newsroom will be hosted and maintained by Chicago-based NewsWire One, the premiere provider of interactive news distribution.
