Auburn, Indiana – Vendors have lined up, cars are rolling in, golf carts are buzzing around the park and the crowd is already grabbing seats in the auction arena. The Kruse International 37th Annual Auburn Fall Collector Car Auction begins today and runs through Tuesday September 4, 2007 at the 480 acre Kruse Auction Park.

One of the highlights of the 6 day extravaganza is the famous celebrity and movie cars that will be crossing the auction block. Yoko Ono-Lennon’s 2002 Bentley Arnage represents luxury motoring at its best. The proceeds will benefit the John Lennon Education Tour Bus. Ernest Hemingway’s 1933 Rolls-Royce that he owned while touring the United States when writing some of his most famous works will ignite bidding throughout the arena. Also to spark the bidding is Andy Griffith’s 1946 Ford 69A Woodie Station Wagon. The car has not been driven since 1995. It is in excellent condition inside and out!

Other celebrity and movie cars that will be featured this weekend are the 1966 George Barris Batmobile, the 1994 Mazda 4 Wheel drive truck used in the set of Baywatch, cars from The Fast and the Furious, the 2005 Dukes of Hazzard Movie car collection, Nicolas Cage’s 1967 Corvette, Herbie the Lovebug, and many more.
