On Sunday, Oct 1, 2006 at 2:00pm EST, cable network ESPN Classic will debut the “RM Classic Car Auction,” a 6-hour marathon of highlights from RM’s record breaking Monterey, California 2006 auction and RM’s award winning restorations at the famed Pebble Beach Concours.

The six-part show, hosted by racer and commentator Alain de Cadenet, automotive expert and longtime enthusiast Mr. Ken Gross, and former NFL pro Ryan Stewart, takes viewers on a red carpet tour of the world’s premier collector car auction – the Monterey Sports & Classic Car Auction held annually at the Portola Plaza Hotel in Monterey, CA as part of the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours weekend.

Watch buyers from around the world bid on over $60 million worth of the world’s rarest and most valuable vintage automobiles, such as the legendary 1958 Ferrari 412 S race car that sold for $5.6 million.

Also featured on the show is the Best of Show-winning 1931 Daimler Double-Six Coupe that captured the final “triple crown” win for RM’s restoration division at the internationally renowned Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

We encourage those interested in reliving the experience of the world record breaking 2006 Monterey Sports and Classic Car Auction to tune in this Sunday to see RM Auctions Offer the World’s Finest Motor Cars at the greatest sports and classic car auction in the world.
