January 8, 2007–It has been announced that Forbes magazine has ranked Grundy Worldwide underwriter, Philadelphia Consolidated Holding Corp., as #74 on its Platinum 400 list of America’s Best Big Companies, as published in the Dec. 21, 2006 issue.

Philadelphia Consolidated (PHLY) was among over 1,000 corporations that were evaluated for inclusion on the list based on such factors as 12-month and five year stock market returns, sales and earnings-per-share growth and debt-to-capital ratios.

In July of 2006, Grundy added Philadelphia Indemnity as an underwriter for its collector vehicle policies. At that time, in addition to the policy benefits of Agreed Value, No Model Year Limitation and Unlimited Mileage, Grundy Worldwide began offering coverage options for Spare Parts, Trip Interruption, Towing and Labor Costs, Inflation Guard and Auto Show Medical Reimbursement.

“Grundy Worldwide now offers more options in coverage than any other provider of collector vehicle insurance,” said James A. Grundy, Jr., company president, at the time of the addition of PHLY as an underwriter. “I’m confident that with the additional options provided by the Philadelphia Insurance Company, our agency is now capable of providing the best service and product in the collector vehicle insurance business.”
