The 5th Annual Winter Break Car Rally
Laughlin, Nevada January 6-7, 2007
October 2006 – Grundy Worldwide is proud to announce their presenting sponsorship of the 5th Annual Winter Break Car Rally to be held in Laughlin Nevada January 6-7, 2007. “Cruising through the Years” kicks off Winter Break – a week-long festival that mirrors a typical spring break for kids, re-lived 30-50 years later.
All makes and models of cars – custom classics, hot rods and muscle cars – are invited to participate. Cars will be on display at the Riverside and the Edgewater Casino parking lots on Saturday January 6th. The public will be asked to vote for their favorite Muscle Car, Classic Car, Hot Rod, American Made Car, and International Car. In addition, judges will choose a “Laughlin’s Best of Show”. Prizes will be presented at the Winter Break Sock Hop presented by Humana, Inc. at the River Palms on Saturday evening.
On Sunday cars will cruise down historic Route 66 for a Poker Run that begins with brunch in Laughlin (included in registration) and continues on to Oatman, Arizona. Participants will draw cards, trying to secure the best poker hand before returning to Laughlin to claim their prizes.
Registration fees are just $25 per car prior to Dec. 1, 2006 or $35 per car after Dec. 1, 2006. This fee includes entry into the Car Rally; DJ with music, raffles and prizes; T-Shirt; plaque and goodie bag; Car Rally Reception with one free drink coupon; Sock Hop & “Best of the 50’s costume contest”; the Route 66 Poker Run and Brunch at Desert Springs Fairway Homes; and two Winter Break all-event wristbands good for all official Winter Break events during the week of January 5-11, 2007. Additional brunches are $10 per person.
Grundy Worldwide will be on hand Saturday January 6th with informational brochures and applications. A representative will be available to answer your questions and to provide insurance quotes.

Winter Break, presented by Humana, Inc. will be celebrated January 5-11, 2007, with a schedule full of fun, crazy, educational, and entertaining events. “It’s much like a land-based cruise,” states Winter Breaker, Helen Moden. “I wake up and plan my day, choosing from the vast schedule of daily activities.”

Winter Break admission is $39 (prior to Dec. 1, 2006) or $49 (after Dec. 1, 2006), which includes all of the official activities of Winter Break. Packages including admission and three-night accommodations are available, starting at $99 per person, double occupancy. Packages inclusive of motorcoach transportation from Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tucson, or Southern California, three-night accommodations and admission are also available.
