The 2014 Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance will include major international names in automotive collecting and racing when the event returns for its 13th annual celebration Oct. 24 – Nov. 2. Among those names are esteemed collectors Joseph and Margie Cassini and William and Christine Snyder, selected respectively as this year’s Pinnacle and Honored Collectors. The Cassinis and Snyders, along with their award-winning collections, will be featured in the Motoring Midway, Nov. 1 and 2, 2014 at the Port Royal Golf Club on Hilton Head Island.

The Pinnacle Collector, Joseph & Margie Cassini
Honored for their contribution to the collector car industry, Joseph and Margie Cassini join fellow Pinnacle Award recipients, Sam & Emily Mann. To celebrate their role at the 2014 Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance and their first trip to the event, the Cassinis of West Orange, N.J. have chosen to showcase three cars in the Pinnacle Collector exhibit, including the very car that was awarded the 2013 Pebble Beach Best of Show winner: a 1934 Packard Convertible Victoria. The two other showstoppers Cassini will be bringing include a 1931 Duesenberg Model J Tourster (pictured) and 1927 Isotta Fraschini 8A S Roadster.

The Honored Collector, William & Christine Snyder
The 2014 Honored Collector, recognized for continued support of the Hilton Head Island event, will feature William and Christine Snyder of Hudson, OH. “The Snyders have been actively involved since the early years of the event. They have participated as both an exhibitor and in helping to source and secure notable cars for the event. We would not be where we are today without their support and that of only a handful of others like them who have been with us since the beginning,” said Vanagel. William and Christine Snyder, as part of this honor, will be showcasing five cars to include: 1930 Stutz MB/SC, 1931 Packard 845, 1954 Chevrolet Corvette, 1963 Ford Shorty and 1966 Shelby GT350.
