Hilton Head Island, SC – Recognizing innovation in engineering and design, the Hilton Head Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival has selected its Honored Marque and is searching for representatives of America’s finest automobile – Cadillac/La Salle – for the 2007 show, to be held November 1- 4. Setting the standard for American automotive luxury, the Hilton Head Concours will showcase three classes of Cadillacs – pre-1942, 1943-1977 and LaSalle.

“We are hoping to find up to 30 pristine examples of our Honored Marque including brass models, V-16s and El Dorado’s to cap off our field of nearly 150 classics competing for ‘Best in Show,’” said Event Chairman, Dr. Paul Doerring.

In addition to the Cadillacs competing in the Concours d’Elegance, the Hilton Head Concours will display supplementary examples of its Honored Marque – a 1959 Cadillac provided by GM and a 1908 Tulip Victoria Cadillac showcased by Paul Ianuario, the only one in existence in which he spent 18 years restoring.

Additionally, the Hilton Head Concours is recruiting a number of antique fire trucks and ambulances to be featured in the annual, permanent display, the Quest for Speed & Style. Displayed alongside modern day vehicles, this display will track the evolution of emergency responders. The first of its kind in the Concours circuit, this display will appeal to all ages.
