September 27, 2007 Joliet, Illinois – INSIDIOUS, the 1970 Dodge Challenger built by Perfection Autosport from Grafton, Wisconsin was awarded the Good Guys Fab 5 Award at last weekend’s 1st annual Chicagoland Nationals. The GoodGuys judges had a tough weekend, having to pare down the competition from close to 1500 entries. By early Saturday morning, the top 200 cars were moved to the Pro’s Pick area for judging. Everything from traditional hot rods, chopped and dropped Mercs to concours quality musclecars was on display for the judges.

The Challenger dubbed “INSIDIOUS” stood out amongst the competition with its flawless two tone black paint scheme. The completely smoothed body and flush fit glass give the vintage and unmistakable Challenger lines a modern flair. With a custom built fully independent suspension, INSIDIOUS has a much lower and aggressive stance. But the piece that grabs and holds everybody’s attention is the heart and soul of INSIDIOUS, the 575 HP electronic fuel injected HEMI engine, sporting vintage fuel injection stacks and a beautiful olive and sandstone finish. INSIDIOUS captured the hearts and the imaginations of everyone in attendance and the GoodGuys judges were no exception.
