Kasey Kahne’s Car to be displayed at 29th Annual Car Show & Auction

The NASCAR driver’s car will be one of many featured cars on display at the annual event

(Tacoma, WA)- Among the 800 or more cars featured this year at the LeMay Museum’s 29th Annual Car Show & Auction on August 26th is one that will be particularly exciting for race fans to see – the 2004 #9 Dodge Intrepid driven by Kasey Kahne in his rookie season. In this car, Kahne won his first career NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race in Richmond, Virginia and won Rookie of the Year honors.

This year Kahne from Enumclaw, Washington is running in the top 10 and has four victories in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup series. “The Kasey Kahne car will be a fantastic addition to our ever-growing Annual Car Show and NASCAR’s support is greatly appreciated,” said CEO David Madeira. Kahne’s car will be on display for one day only at Marymount Academy on the day of the Car Show.

At the Annual Car Show, in addition to viewing more than 800 cars there will be a variety of automobile-related displays, an auction featuring restorable cars and parts, food, music and more. Entry donations are $10 for adults, $20 for a family of 4, $5 for children under 12 and $5 for active military.
