GARNETT, KANSAS (March 3, 2009) – Vintage sports cars, drivers, crew, officials, and spectators from the Lake Garnett sports car racing era are invited to participate in Motor Mania Weekend June 6, 2009.
Vintage sports cars will participate in a car show (downtown Garnett) and driven to the course for parade laps of the 2.7 mile course. View memorabilia on display and vintage film of the historic races to be projected on 20-foot projection screens.
The course is in its original configuration, maintained in superb condition, and is used biannually for kart racing. KART Mid America Road Race will also be held on June 6 and 7.
