The Eighth Annual Lake Mirror Classic, a must-do event among auto show participants
and spectators, is set to roll into downtown Lakeland, Florida, starting October 19th,
2007.

Primary sponsor Mercedes-Benz and event organizers expect to welcome more
than 500 cars—including Concours d’Elegance beauties, classic American musclecars,
and vintage sports and race cars, plus classic wooden boats and antique motorcycles.
Sir Stirling Moss, motor racing’s senior statesman, will be present as the 2007 Honorary
Chairman.

In addition to having the pleasure of Sir Stirling Moss’ presence at this year’s Mercedes-
Benz Lake Mirror Classic Auto Festival, Founder and Chairman Ford Heacock is gathering
a select group of race cars representing Moss’ career. Included in this group will be
The Collier Collection’s 1957 Cooper Climax, type 43, the car Moss drove to victory in
the 1958 Argentine Grand Prix. This was a significant vicotry as it was the beginning of
the rear engine era in Grand Prix racing.

Outdoor concert, party and car show, custom cars, food and prizes.
This activity is a charitable fund-raiser for Junior Achievement of Polk County.

Saturday, October 20, 2007, The Lake Mirror Classic Auto Festival
10 am – 4 pm Lake Mirror Park, Downtown Lakeland
This is one of the most scenic and popular classic car events in the Southeast. Presented
in the beautifully restored, art, deco-styled Lake Mirror Park and throughout
downtown Lakeland, Florida, the eighth annual Lake Mirror Classic is expected to attract
more than 500 vehicles and 35,000 spectators.
