Lake Mirror Classic Ramps up for Late October

The Eighth Annual Lake Mirror Classic, a must-do event among auto show participants
and spectators, is set to roll into downtown Lakeland, Florida, starting October 19th,
2007.

Primary sponsor Mercedes-Benz and event organizers expect to welcome more
than 500 cars—including Concours d’Elegance beauties, classic American musclecars,
and vintage sports and race cars, plus classic wooden boats and antique motorcycles.
Sir Stirling Moss, motor racing’s senior statesman, will be present as the 2007 Honorary
Chairman.

In addition to having the pleasure of Sir Stirling Moss’ presence at this year’s Mercedes-
Benz Lake Mirror Classic Auto Festival, Founder and Chairman Ford Heacock is gathering
a select group of race cars representing Moss’ career. Included in this group will be
The Collier Collection’s 1957 Cooper Climax, type 43, the car Moss drove to victory in
the 1958 Argentine Grand Prix. This was a significant vicotry as it was the beginning of
