Dusseldorf, Germany –Germany marked the first stop of the Corvette Limited Edition Sport-V’s international tour. The Corvette that runs on water is now global. The Malibu Boats Corvette boat, was unveiled to approximately 120 anxious buyers and members of the international press at the Dusseldorf Boat Show last week.
Customers and journalists enjoyed a glass of Champagne and hors d’oeuvres while they waited for the drape to be removed from the boat. Prior to that happening, onlookers viewed a short introductory video clip on the Corvette Limited Edition Sport-V. This presentation featured just the right music and information voiceover to get everyone that much more excited. The boat was then unveiled to clapping and cheers as many of the spectators rushed closer to snap some photos.
“There’s no other way to describe the Corvette boat here in Germany,” explained Bo Lassen, owner of World Wide Nautic and International Sales Manager for Malibu Boats. “It was a huge hit!”
During this nine-day show the Corvette Limited Edition Sport-V received a lot of attention, not only from buyers, but from many members of the press. There were six television interviews done for stations in Israel, Germany, Holland, France, Denmark and the U.K. There were also a number of international magazines collecting information for feature stories they are planning to run.
This little red Corvette is now on its way to the Copenhagen Boat Show where it will, no doubt, turn more heads. At this show the boat will be displayed behind a red Corvette car.
