McCormick’s Palm Springs Collector Car Auction is buzzing with activity as preparations are underway for its 52nd auction to be held February 24 through February 26, 2012.  For 26 years, McCormick’s has provided car lovers the ideal venue to buy, sell and admire unique and classic automobiles.  And, from the first gavel strike to the last, the upcoming auction is shaping up to be McCormick’s largest-ever event, featuring some of the nicest vehicles yet to grace the Coachella Valley.

“We are coming off an amazing auction result this past November, during which we set a new sales gross record that had just been set at the prior auction in February 2011,” explains Keith McCormick, founder and president.  “And I believe those results are helping us attract an even higher class of vehicle to our events, as can be seen in the entries so far.”

Examples of latest entries include an extremely rare 1940 Series 62 Cadillac* convertible with side mounted spare tires on each side , a 1959 nine-passenger* Ford Country wagon, a beautiful 1969 Ferrari 365 GT 2+2*, and a pristine 1949 Cadillac* Sedanette to name just a few of the more highly-restored and very collectible cars that have already enrolled.

New to McCormick’s for this auction will be the onsite presence of representatives from J.J. Best Banc & Co., the recognized national leader in the classic car financing industry by car enthusiasts across America.  They will be present to provide buyers with instant financing, if needed, before they bid to acquire the car of their dreams.
