With over 300 Corvettes to be offered throughout this week at the Mecum Auction in Kissimmee, it’s no surprise that on day two of the massive six-day auction the top seller was just that. A Goodwood Green/Saddle interior 1967 Corvette 427/435 HP 4-speed Convertible (Lot H3.1) sold for $109,000. Total sales for the Wednesday auction exceeded $6 Million with an impressive 78% sell through.

Other top sellers from the day included a 2011 Bourget Python Super Stretch Chopper (Lot W195) raising $100,000 for “Welcome Back Veterans”, an organization committed to providing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder treatment for veterans and their families. A 1957 Chevy Pro Street (Lot W114) sold for $80,000 and a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 (Lot W257) hammered for $71,000.

Today’s auction was broadcast live for 8 hours on Discovery’s Velocity Network. Joining the Mecum crew as guest commentator was fellow Velocity family member Wayne Carini, star of “Chasing Classic Cars.” The auction resumes tomorrow at 8:30 AM with Road Art, followed by vehicles at 9:00 AM. Live Velocity TV coverage will resume at 1:00 PM. All times Eastern
