Can Wargo’s “Outrageous C6” top this one?
Auto enthusiasts spent $34 billion on customizing their cars last year, according to the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA). And, they aren’t just passionate about upgrading the exterior with custom wheels, exhausts and paint. For individuals who view their vehicles as a form of self expression, what’s inside counts just as much. That’s why Mid America Motorworks manufactures OE and custom Corvette interiors through its Performance Choice Interior Manufacturing Division.

This year the Performance Choice team’s interior design and manufacturing talent will be showcased in a SEMA Project Car, the 2007 “Outrageous C6” Corvette, created by John Wargo of the Custom Shop. On display at the SONY exhibit (Booth 11050) the Corvette’s interior defines a new trend in high-performance interior materials: an ultra-premium look and feel without the maintenance hassles of traditional suede. Performance Choice achieved this benchmark by using a first- of-its-kind combination of textured ostrich leather and sumptuous Alcantara® synthetic suede, integrating it throughout the interior, from seating and center armrest to door panels.

For more insight on today’s interior trends, we invite you to schedule an interview with Mid America Motorworks founder Mike Yager at SEMA and visit the company’s Performance Choice exhibit (Central Hall Booth #23484).
