(CANTON)- Motorcar Portfolio will hold a mid-winter inventory reduction auction on Saturday February 10, 2007 at their warehouse in Canton, OH.
The auction is a sale of excess titled running and driving automobiles that will be sold at no reserve. Cars slated for auction include: 1985 Alfa Romeo GTV-6 coupe, 1980 AMC Pacer wagon, 1967 Buick Electra 225 coupe, 1968 Chevy C10 custom pick up, 1951 Chevy Styleline Deluxe coupe, 1978 Chevy Nova Rallye 2dr coupe, 1977 Chrysler Town and Country 9 pass. wagon, 1932 Dodge 1 ½ ton stake bed truck, 1930 Ford Model A 4dr sedan (on Shay chassis), 1963 Ford Galaxie 500XL convertible, 1949 Mercury M74 4dr, 1979 Jeep Wagoneer, 1981 Jeep Wagoneer and 1979 Cadillac Seville 4dr. Cars to be sold at the auction in need of restoration include a 1947 Crosley coupe former racecar (no title) and 1949 Packard Super Deluxe 8 4dr sedan. Two restored antique Ford tractors will also be sold; a 1946 9N and a 1949 8N.
In addition to cars, miscellaneous parts will also be sold. Parts including, but not limited to, sets and old lots of take off tires (both wide whites and radials), wheel covers, fender skirts, and miscellaneous Ford, Chevy, Mercury, Chrysler, Buick mechanical and body parts.
Also selling vintage goods including- model cars, inbuilt model kits, sales literature, shop manuals, and car magazines. Miscellaneous merchandise includes ASC show car display unit (modular unit with carpeted sign pillars/neon), rare 1920s/1930s car turntable (works but needs bearing), and industrial steel shelving components.
This is a sale of surplus goods only. Motorcar Portfolio will be open for business as usual at their showroom location (Lower Level of the Canton McKinley Grand Hotel, 320 Market Ave S; Canton, OH 44702) during and after the sale (Monday – Saturday 9-5, all hours by appointment).
Terms: Cash, check, debit card, Visa or MasterCard with proper ID auction day. There will be a 3% buyer’s premium on all sales with a 3% discount for cash. Temporary (30 day) tags will be available.
