NASCAR Driver’s Rev Up Online Engines

Grandview, Missouri (September 9, 2005). Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, and Kevin Harvick are heating up more than their race car engines this week. After only six days of an online auction to help raise money for the drivers charities and foundations, more than $32,000 has been raised and Gordon’s bids account for 47% of the total number for all four drivers.

One of the items currently garnering a flurry of bids is an autographed and framed Monopoly Board From Hendrick Racing- autographed by Jeff Gordon, Richard Petty, Tony Stewart, Dale Jr., Carl Edwards, Rusty Wallace, Mark Martin and Jimmie Johnson, to name a few, which has a current bid of $1,301.00. Another hot item is an autographed & framed, full-sized replica of Kevin Harvick’s 2003 Driver Uniform with a current high bid of $352.00. All items began with an opening bid of $1.00.

As a bonus, the winner of each auction will receive two tickets to meet the driver and have them personally autograph their winning item at a private meet-and-greet event October 6-7, prior to the NASCAR race weekend at Kansas Speedway. The location of the meet-and-greet will be the facility in Grandview, MO, just minutes south of downtown Kansas City.

This exclusive online auction will end September 18, 2005, beginning at 6:00 PM CST.
