American Leader Of Classic Car Parts Unites With American Auto Icon Lee Iacocca And The Iacocca Foundation

The Iacocca Foundation is proud to welcome National Parts Depot as a corporate sponsor for The Lee Iacocca Award, now beginning its third year of presentations. The Iacocca Award continues to expand into classic automotive events across the nation. The stunning emblazoned plaque is awarded to an individual participating in the event who has shown Dedication to Excellence in Perpetuating an American Automotive Tradition. The recipients are chosen by their peers for his/her outstanding contributions to the hobby over time.

The Iacocca Foundation in its efforts to find a cure for diabetes founded the Award to gather support for on-going research. Lee Iacocca created The Iacocca Foundation in 1984 after his beloved wife Mary passed away from complications of this disease.

National Parts Depot is the premier auto restoration parts supply company, their corporate office located in Ocala, Florida. Through their efforts this prestigious Award will be presented at numerous car shows and events during 2008 including the Amelia Island Concours D’Elegance, the Silver Springs Ford & Mustang Round-Up and the Silver Springs All-GM Oktoberfest.
Other planned, but yet to be confirmed shows sponsored nationally by NPD will be announced soon.

Corporate and other hobby related sponsors are invited to join in supporting Mr. Iacocca and The Iacocca Foundation by making the Award possible to classic car enthusiasts at their car events nationwide, including all makes and models recognized in the hobby.
