Hilton Head Island, SC – The Hilton Head Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival announced today its partnership with The Worldwide Group (an Indiana based company which specializes in auctioning significant automobiles) for the Hilton Head Auction to take place the Saturday of the Concours, November 4, at Honey Horn.

“The Worldwide Group’s prestige further establishes our event as being among the top tier of all auto events in the United States,” said Carolyn Vanagel, Executive Director of the Concours. “Their presence in November will help attract an even more elite list of event participants.”

Just coming off of a successful auction at the Keels & Wheels Concours d’Elegance in Houston, TX (May 6, 2006) where $12 million in pristine automobiles was auctioned and several record prices were achieved, The Worldwide Group announced its plans to bring many of the finest vintage automobiles to the Hilton Head event. Cars that will participate in the Saturday auction can be previewed by the public on Friday, November 3. Auction catalogs will sell for $50 (includes admission for two) and will be available soon at www.thewwg.com.
