This month’s cover poll was another close one. 47% of you chose Cover #2, the 1972 Ferrari 246 GT Dino berlinetta, just ahead of Cover #1, the 1975 Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/TT/12, with 42%. Cover #3, the 1991 Lamborghini LM002 garnered 11% of votes and countless snarky quips. (Click to check out the comments, and add your own.)

We also asked which type of classic-car events you have attended in the past year. 18% of you attended a show and shine/cruise-in, 14% attended a formal concours d’elegance, 13% attended a car exhibit at a museum, 11% attended a car club meeting and 10% attended vintage races.

We offered four drive-to-Monterey classic-car choices: 41% picked the 1967 Alfa Romeo Duetto, 17% picked the 1965 Ford Mustang GT convertible, 14% picked the 1972 Triumph TR6, 14% picked the 1972 Porsche 914/4, and 7% picked the 1967 MGB convertible.

Asked the question, “How many cars can you reasonably own, drive and maintain yourself?” 39% said 2-3; 33% said 4-6, 10% said 7-10 and 6% said 1. Oh, and 13% said “You can never have too many.”

Thanks to all of you for sharing your responses.
