This unparalleled supercar exhibit will feature over 200 top of the line supercars, including Bugattis,Ferraris, Mclarens and Lamborghinis.

Jim Glickenhaus’s one-of-a kind tailor-made priceless Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina, arguably the most significant and exciting automobile in the world, will be showcased along with Richard Earl’s impressive private collection of his grandfather’s signed drawings, motoramic masterpieces, published and archival information, patents, letters, published writings, personal papers, hundreds of never-before-seen family photos, historically innovative newspaper and magazine articles at the Palm Beach Supercar Concours VIP Pavilion.

Battista Pininfarina and Harley Earl, two pioneers, two visionaries, yet two continents apart, together set the standard of design excellence with their extraordinary foresight and futuristic designs. More than 40 years later, paying homage to both Pininfarina and Harley Earl, Richard Earl, who has inherited the passion and vision of the heritage, will be a guest of honor at this world premier.

“I just wanted to do it-I don’t care what anyone thinks”, said Jim Glickenhaus referring to his commissioning of the Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina. The Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina evokes the genius and passion of a by-gone era, when automobiles were an art-form, not solely transportation, harkening back to a time when “sex was safe, and racing was dangerous.” (Quote by Jim Glickenhaus.)

Richard Earl, who is passionate about preserving his grandfather’s vision for the future of the American auto industry, along with the instrumental role he played at General Motors in helping it become the world’s premiere automobile manufacturer for 75 continuous years, will present an exclusive photo exhibit, How Harley turned his designs into art .

“Harley Earl took the modern automotive industry into an art form, which is clearly represented in this museum quality exhibit,” said grandson, Richard Earl. Quoting his grandfather, Richard Earl continued to say, “General Motors believed its engineers and stylists should enjoy the freedom to thrust ahead into the automotive future. For only by advancing far beyond the practical to the remotely possible, can GM make dreams come true.”

The audience of polo and supercar spectators will have the opportunity to meet the honored guests, and learn more about the driving force behind the legendary pioneers. They will also be able to inspect up close — and fully experience the Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina, which will be showcased on the field during the half-time finals of The Joe Barry Memorial Cup.

“Like many of the automobiles showcased, the Supercar Weekend is an expression of style, design and sensuality. We have carefully selected our sponsors and venues keeping the high standards and lifestyle of our demanding international audience who will continue to grow and make this event a yearly destination, “said John Temerian, owner/partner of Supercar Weekend. The three day event will draw auto aficionados, lovers of art, design, luxury and world class collectors including Sheik Maktoum, Justin Bell, Sheik Bader, Jim Glickenhaus, and Richard Earl.
