RM Sotheby’s Announces Single-Marque Ferrari Auction

RM Sotheby’s has announced an all-Ferrari auction, to take place September 9th at the Ferrari factory in Maranello, Italy.

This new sale, held during Ferrari’s 70th anniversary celebration, will offer some of the greatest collectible Ferraris available today — all of them with the coveted Ferrari Classiche certification.

RM Sotheby’s Totals $28.5 million at Villa Erba Sale

A 1937 Talbot-Lago T150-C SS Coupe was high sale at $3,780,000, as RM Sotheby’s totaled $28.5 million during the May 27 Villa Erba sale.

The auction, RM Sotheby’s fourth Villa Erba sale, was held in conjunction with the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on the shore of Lake Como, Italy.

RM Sotheby’s 2015 Villa Erba sale totaled $29.8 million.

Pebble Beach Concours Moves Dates for 2018

The Pebble Beach Concours, which typically takes place on the third Sunday in August, has announced it will take place a week later in 2018. The concours will be held August 26, 2018.

A 2012 Ferrari 458 GTD race car sold for $462,000 — doubling its pre-sale estimate — and was high sale at Auctions America’s May 11-13 Auburn Spring sale.
