April Cover Poll Results

The results from our April cover survey are in. The clear winner was Cover #2, the 1960 OSCA 750 S, with 50% of votes, followed by Cover #1, the 1931 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Supercharged Gran Sport Spider (34%), and Cover #3, the 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 3.5 cabriolet (16%).

We asked, “If you could own one blue-chip collectible, which would it be?”

38% of you said a Ferrari 250 SWB. 21% said  a Mercedes-Benz Gullwing. 17% said a Lamborghini Miura SV. 14% said a 289 Cobra. 11% said a Porsche 911 Carrera RS.

When asked to pick a “cheap and cheerful” classic for your garage, 28% of you picked a Triumph TR4A. 25% picked an Alfa Romeo Square-tail spider. 17% picked a pre-1968 MGB. 15% picked an Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprite. 9% picked a Fiat 124 Spider.

We also asked which auctions you plan to attend in the coming year. Your top five picks were Barrett-Jackson, Bonhams, Gooding & Company and RM.
