An absolutely exceptional and completely rust free example of this recently both mechanically and cosmetically restored, and with only very few miles since being restored, of a mostly all original Chieftan and very rare 268 8-cylinder 2-door Deluxe Convertible in a beautiful and extraordinarily striking repaint in period correct ‘Santa Fe Red’ color and with an absolutely beautiful all new ‘Red & Gray’ interior and with a Tan power soft top!
The car was loaded with factory options including: Color coordinated cloth & leather upholstery & deep pile carpeting, DeLuxe steering wheel, Full length body side stainless & wheel trim rings, Belt line molding with dip, Chrome gravel guard with rear fender extensions, Automatic interior lighting, Windshield washer. The Rockhound Collection took ownership in the middle part of 2010 and has since maintained it in its museum-like setting and regularly exercised it to ensure the mechanics stayed up to date. This rare straight-eight Pontiac shows just some 70,400 miles on it, although it is not documented.
