Superb, smooth revving engine; brilliant handling in dry weather; terrific Ferrari-Dino-like view over the front wheel arches.

Prices of used NSXs continue to plummet, with early ’90s cars in good condition now being sold in the $30,000 range with regularity. While they may have had some sex appeal when new, they’ve become an over-the-hill dowager that desperately needs an infusion of Botox for a contemporary look. Ferrari could get away with building the 308 for over a decade, but they were entry level exotics in a food chain that went up to the TR. The NSX is the king of a model lineup populated by four-door sedans. And for $90k, you’ve got a lot of far more exciting choices out there.
