Exterior styling is subtle, sculpted and modern. Beautiful, luxurious, inviting interior. Quick-revving V6 is powerful but refined, with plenty of extra horsepower on tap, just in case you need it. Voluminous interior and trunk are more spacious than expected.
None, really. I prefer smaller, lighter cars with more visibility, but this big, powerful, safe car will appeal to the Buick shopper.
The Lacrosse will squeak the tires at every stoplight, and it turns every onramp into your personal drag-strip. It is a well conceived and very well executed American luxury car that feels thoroughly modern. I picture a successful businessman or doctor commuting to work, perhaps dropping off the kids at the neighborhood Montessori school on the way. On a sunny Sunday morning, when he heads out to wine country with his wife in tow, he plows through some moderate twisty turns with just a little extra verve and says, “See, honey? Who needs a European sports car?”
