Comfortable power seats with tons of adjustment. Interior feels and looks upscale, using soft-materials and a two tone color pallet. Technology is easy to use with multiple ways to control the system, like many German makes. Premium Package adds navigation, heated seats, and heated steering wheel. Fitted with LED headlights, running lights and taillights. Adaptive front lighting system with cornering headlights.

Dislikes

Road noise. Suspension is fair at absorbing big road imperfections but little bumps can give a vibrating feel. Gadgets boost the price — yes, it has blind spot warning and smart braking standard, but everything else comes with the Premium Package and I-ACTV Safety Package. $1,600 for the first, $1,100 for the latter.

Verdict

A nice car that comes in just above your standard “does the job” commuter. But short of stepping up into a 3-Series BMW or C-Class Benz, it’s hard to imagine getting more luxury in a relatively compact car.
