|Price as Tested||$31,815: 1.8-liter TSI DOHC Turbo I4 engine, 6-speed automatic, remote start, heated seating, dual-zone climate control, 6.3-inch touchscreen navigation screen with Bluetooth, Fender audio system, blind spot detection with rear traffic alert, lane departure warning and parking pilot zone detection.|
Intuitive. Feels well-made and generally nice to touch. Comfortable and fast enough. Handsome in a reserved way. Plenty of room for taller drivers and passengers without knees lodged in seatbacks.
Ruthlessly practical. Depending on who you are that could be a good or a bad thing, but I get the feeling that nobody had any fun designing this.
The VW’s simple and sensible design made for navigating the stop-and-go traffic of Scottsdale easy. Great choice for grocery duty, but you’ll need to keep some fun car keys on hand for those weekend drives.
