Richard Mattei’s 1936 Lancia Astura Pinin Farina Cabriolet is on top of the collector car world.

Mattei’s Lancia won Best of Show at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 21. This was the first time Mattei entered a car at Pebble Beach.

“I was just happy to be an entrant at Pebble Beach — and now to get an award, and not just one, but three!”

I have one of the few Sisters Cars ! With 1100 km on the clock. My Astura was stored from 1939 till 2009 dismantled ! It was 1st in class in Villa Deste 2013 Best of show in Schloss Dyk 2014 and won many others. The leather works is famous! I was invited to PB! But I did not have time to come. Would be interested to see which one is really the most appealing one! I am glad that finally Lancia and Pininfarina get the right recognition ! Congratulations to the the ones involved .

  2. Congratulations Richard on a well deserved win from your friends at Hyman Ltd.!
