Visitors to this weekend’s MPH show will witness the UK debut of the $2.1 million Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster.

The roadster version is one of only five built. Powered by a Mercedes AMG V12 engine producing 678hp, the Cinque (Italian for five) is claimed to be capable of hitting 62mph from a standstill in just 3.4 seconds, going on to a claimed top speed of 217mph.

Changes over and above the standard Zonda include a stronger chassis, formed from carbon-fibre and titanium, to facilitate the removable roof. “The exhaust has also been completely redesigned and there are a number of additional carbon-fibre intakes and fins all over the car,” said UK brand manager at the Bob Forstner dealership, Tommy Wareham.

“We are looking forward to introducing the Roadster to the British public at the MPH show and we’re sure that its luxurious feel and aggressive styling with make it an instant favourite,” he added.

The Prestige and Performance Motor Show, including Top Gear Live, takes place at Earls Court, London, from November 4-7 and at the NEC in Birmingham from November 11-14. For more information, call 0871 230 5588.
