(LONG ISLAND, NY – February 19, 2007) – Motorcycle enthusiasts of all levels won’t want to miss the Northeast Motorcycle Expo, the largest all model motorcycle show in New England. The first annual show in Long Island will include an exclusive showing of bikes built by the legendary Arlen Ness and a “Cooking with Fire” demonstration by author/cook Biker Billy. Three generations of the Ness family will be in attendance at this special show – guests will have the opportunity to meet Arlen’s Super-Builder son, Cory Ness, along with his grandson and rising star, Zach Ness. The Northeast Motorcycle Expo will take place at Suffolk Community College in Brentwood, Long Island on Saturday, March 24 through Sunday, March 25th, 2007.

Arlen Ness is without a doubt the worlds leading motorcycle customizer. After buying his first Harley in 1967 and customizing it in his own garage, Ness entered the bike in a custom show and took home first place. Almost 40 years later, Ness has made a mark on the motorcycle industry with his cutting edge designs and custom parts. In 2003, he opened his World Headquarters in Dublin, CA, a 68,000 sq. ft. building that has a sales showroom, a parts department, apparel store, service department, shipping & receiving warehouse, photo studio, museum, and workshop where guests can view the bikes being built.

Attendees will enjoy attractions such as the “Best of the Northeast” custom bike show, which features more than 50 custom-made motorcycle entries competing for $3,500 in cash prizes and the top titles in categories ranging from “Best Engine,” “Best Chrome,” “Best of Show,” “Judges Choice,” “Peoples Choice,” “Promoters Choice,” and “Kid’s Choice.” From bikes with dazzling designs to powerful engines, the “Best of the Northeast” exhibits the region’s most impressive custom built motorcycles.

In keeping with this exhilarating atmosphere, musical guests Cross Cut Saw will be on site to entertain the audience with their guitar driven Southern Rock sound. Other popular attractions include the Iron Angels, a talented & beautiful group of female dancers who will entertain the crowd with their sizzling stage show.

Showcasing dozens of pristine motorcycles, the Northeast Motorcycle Expo also features over 100 exhibitors offering an unprecedented variety of products for the avid or novice motorcyclist. Hundreds of new models, motorcycle accessories, leather riding fashions and collectible merchandise will all be available to consumers throughout the two-day event.

For those looking to purchase a new motorcycle or to refurbish an old model in time for spring, The Northeast Motorcycle Expo should be the first stop. With dozens of motorcycles of all styles, consumers are treated to one of the largest selections all under one roof.

Admission to THE NORTHEAST MOTORCYCLE EXPO is $15 for adults, $7 for children 6-12 yrs old, and children under 6 yrs are free. Expo hours are Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Suffolk Community College is located at 533 College Rd. in Selden, NY 11784.
