Esteemed Geneva Concours to Roll Out Museum Quality Automobiles

Black Tie Gala Dinner and Gratis Car Show Offer Something for Everyone

GENEVA, IL (July 27, 2006) – If you are able to attend just one classic car show all summer, the Geneva Concours d’Elegance is the hot spot to be. Located in historic Geneva, Illinois, this esteemed affair will be held on Saturday and Sunday, August 26th and 27th, 2006 with proceeds to be donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. This two-day event will showcase the crème-de-la-crème of automobiles, including a 1900 Mobil Stanhope steam powered car, a 1948 Delahaye 135M and one of the ultimate luxury automobiles, a 2006 Maybach 57.

The Black Tie Gala Dinner, to be held Saturday, August 26th at the Eagle Brook Country Club, will prove to be the social event of the year. Featuring an elegant five course dinner, the gala will spotlight acclaimed chefs and restaurants at this see-and-be-seen affair, namely Sean Eastwood of Isabella’s Estiatorio, Thomas Hiestand of Atwater’s, Josh Johnson and Paul Saucedo from Cocoa Bean, Scott Beltran of the Eagle Brook Country Club and Jeremy Lycan from Niche.

“This year’s Geneva Concours Gala Dinner is going to be absolutely stellar,” said Dean Georgelos, Managing Proprietor of Isabella’s Estiatorio and Board Member of the Geneva Concours 2006. “From the talented chefs involved, to the amazing silent auction, to the elegant fashion show, the entire evening will prove to be the definition of modern luxury.” Mr. Georgelos, known for his philanthropy and support of the neighborhood, went on to praise the time, talent, and effort of all those involved in the Geneva Concours, a close group of professionals who share a love of community, cars and charitable giving.

Newly added to the evening is a raffle for a spectacular diamond necklace, bracelet and earring set, an extremely generous donation courtesy of State Street Jewelers in Geneva.

“Worth close to $20,000, this exquisite jewelry features approximately 4.25 carats of sparkling diamonds inlaid in 14-carat gold,” said Patti Rambo, coordinator of the silent auction and owner/broker of Miscella Real Estate. “We are also excited that 100% of the silent auction and raffle proceeds will go directly to MS.” The jewelry is currently showcased in the windows of State Street Jewelers. A limited number of $50 raffle tickets are on sale now via the Geneva Concours; the winner will be chosen the night of the Gala Dinner.

Generous sponsors of this year’s Geneva Concours include Continental Ferrari/Maserati, Maybach, Napleton Porsche, Motor Werks, and Shodeen Family Foundation. Proceeds will be donated to MS; donations to benefit the organization can be made now by contacting the Geneva Concours.
