Beverly Hills, CA, June 11, 2008 -– Gooding & Company will display four exceptionally designed cars at the Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15.

The cars have all been consigned to the Gooding & Company annual Pebble Beach Auction for this coming August. This exclusive selection will include the spectacular 1959 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder, with coachwork by Scaglietti, the very rare 1955 Lancia Aurelia B24S Spider America coachwork by Pininfarina, the exceptional Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Gran Sport coachwork by Zagato, and the original 1914 Stutz Bearcat. Anchoring the 400 block of Rodeo Drive, Gooding & Company’s cars will be among more than 100 other cars at the 2008 Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance, themed ‘Haute Wheels: Celebrating Car Couture.’

The event will take place on the 300 and 400 blocks of North Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and is open to the public at no charge.

“We are delighted to preview highlights from our Pebble Beach Auction consignments at the prestigious 2008 Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance,” said David Gooding, president and founder of Gooding & Company. “This Concours has proven to be a very successful, well-attended annual event with an impressive showcase of cars.”

One of Gooding & Company’s Pebble Beach Auction star cars is the impressive, multi-million dollar 1959 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder. An archetypal 1950s Ferrari, this award-winning vehicle was ordered new by H.R.H. Prince Vittorio Emanuele de Savoia, the last prince of Italy. A touted veteran of the show field, it won Best in Class at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in 1991 and earned the Classic Platinum Award at the Cavallino Classic in 1999. Many connoisseurs feel that this is one of the most beautiful cars of its era.

One of only 240 Lancia Aurelias ever built, the superb Lancia Aurelia B24S Spider America has the mark of elegant coachwork by Pininfarina and represents the chosen favorite among the aristocrats of the 1950s including film star Gary Cooper. It has a stunning appearance and will no doubt attract a lot of attention at the Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance as well as at Pebble Beach.

Built for touring and competition alike, the supercharged 1931 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Gran Sport Spider with coachwork by Zagato is a most beautiful and sought after Alfa 6C 1750. It bears a fascinating history, was raced by World Champion racecar driver Phil Hill at Laguna Seca and is a veteran of the modern Mille Miglia, which it ran in 1998 and 1990.

The 1914 Stutz Bearcat, commonly known in collecting circles as “The Koveleski Stutz,” will also be featured at the Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance. The Bearcat is revered as one of the first great sports cars, capable of an astonishing top speed of nearly 80 miles per hour. This rare car will be for sale for the first time in 60 years.

Each year on Father’s Day, local families flock to the famous street to see one-of-a-kind automobiles on display. The collection of classic and modern cars on display against a backdrop of world-renowned boutiques showcases the connection between high fashion couture and luxurious automotives.

The annual Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2008 from 10am to 4pm.
