There will be a wonderful gathering of fine Triumph automobiles of all years and models to be held at the legendary Autobooks-Aerobooks bookshop located at 3524 W. Magnolia Blvd., Burbank, California 91505 (one block E. of Hollywood Way) (818) 845-0707
In addition to the great cars on display, this event will feature a group of special guests, refreshments, awards and raffle. Our guests will cover technical aspects of Triumph automobiles including maintenance, repair and restoration. There will also be many club members eager to share their knowledge and experience of Triumph automobiles. This event should be of great interest to Triumph owners (past, present and future) or to anyone who just loves cars.
Herman van den Akker will be discussing his five speed conversion kits for Triumphs. He’ll have display transmissions and literature, and will answer questions regarding Triumph 4-speed and overdrive gearboxes.
Ken Gillanders will be looking at engine rebuilding and the performance building of Triumph engines. He will also discuss setting cars up for racing.
Doctor Mordy Dunst will talk about the services of his company (Gasket Works) and discuss high-performance head gasket sets.
Dave Wellwood will go over all aspects of Triumph restoration including frame-on and frame-off restoration.
Ahmad P. Nawabi of Hexagon Automotive Service will talk about his company’s services for British cars.
Boycho Manev of EZ Car Lift will be demonstrating his remarkable car lift system.
