“Initial response from the ClubSport package has been great. As we assumed, inquiries about the wheels came pouring in. We anticipated a market for our Clubsport wheels and are making them available to fill this need,” commented Jason Harding, performance parts sales, Katech Performance. “Our Clubsport wheels were created to help Corvette owners distinguish their car from everything else available in the Corvette marketplace. Now anyone can have this unique wheel for their Z06.”
The 15-spoke, flat-face, single-piece wheels (18×9.5-inch front; 19×12-inch rear) are constructed of forged aluminum and shot peened for extra strength.
Katech Clubsport wheels weigh 24.5 lbs front, and 26 lbs. rear.
Safety tested, the wheels exceed factory standards for cornering strength by 37%. Katech’s ClubSport wheels clear most big brake kits, including the Brembo GT 14″ and 15″ front rotors used in the complete Katech Corvette Z06 ClubSport package. The wheels are finished with an attractive powder coat, in a variety of colors, including; gunmetal gray, flat black, gloss black or bright silver. A black chrome finish is also available. They utilize production valve stems with tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors (sold separately).
Katech Performance C6 Corvette Z06 ClubSport wheels (standard, which includes choice of powdercoat finish and center caps) retail for $4,999. The black chrome finish is available at an additional cost.
