Troy, MI. March 20, 2008 –-Writer, TV commentator and noted collector car expert Keith Martin will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the 2008 Meadow Brook Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, August 3, event organizers announced recently.

A classic car enthusiast for more than 30 years, Martin is the publisher of Sports Car Market and Corvette Market magazines. He has hosted numerous specials on collector cars, was a regular commentator on the SPEED Channel, currently is the co-host of “Appraise My Car” shown on Discovery HD, and has appeared on MSNBC, CNN and the NBC Nightly News. In addition, Martin has written for several major publications such as Automobile, AutoWeek and the New York Times.

“Who better to emcee this year’s spectacular Concours than one of the most recognized individuals in the classic car field?” asks Larry Smith, Meadow Brook Concours event chairman. “We are thrilled that Keith will be on hand as many of the world’s finest vehicles take to our magnificent stage.”

Featured at this year’s exhibition will be rare, open-hood displays of 16 cylinder cars, amazing representatives from the class of 1933, early to late model Ferraris and what is expected to be the largest collection of 8 liter Bentleys ever assembled anywhere in the world.

The exhibition caps off a weekend of festivities that include gala evenings and lifestyle events.

Meadow Brook Concours d’Elegance is one of the most prestigious automotive events in the world. It is held on the grounds of Meadow Brook Hall, a 1920’s Tudor-revival mansion built by the widow of John Dodge.
