PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA (November 10, 2009) – Alfred DiMora, CEO of DiMora Motorcar and past owner of Clenet Coachworks Inc., today announced the launch of the website www.clenetcoachworks.com. It marks the revival of the Classic Clenet Club, an organization DiMora formed in 1982 to support owners of Clenet luxury cars with parts, service, technical advice, and social gatherings.

“I wanted to create a website to serve as the trusted source for Clenet technical information, parts, service, photos, articles, video clips, and social events,” said DiMora, whose companies are creating unique custom motorcycles and the Natalia SLS 2, the world’s most expensive luxury sedan.

Announced as an ongoing project, the website will offer a wealth of information, including factory history, to include who bought Clenets, who owns them today, how-to manuals and videos, and where to purchase a Clenet. The Classic Clenet Club is committed to keeping these timeless automobiles on the road, providing restoration services, authentic factory documentation and blueprints, parts, and much more.

Membership in the Classic Clenet Club is free. Members will receive newsletters and related information at no charge and will be able to share their ownership experiences with others and publish them on the website. As an added service, Clenet owners will be able to list their cars for sale on the site, and communicate with other Clenet owners.

Special events for Clenet owners and enthusiasts will also be announced and managed through the website. The first event will be the Walk of Stars dedication in Palm Springs on November 15 for the placement of a star honoring Mr. DiMora for his humanitarian service and entrepreneurial achievement. Speakers will include Academy Award-winning actor Ernest Borgnine, Larry Wilcox from “ChiPs”, and TV and movie star Bo Hopkins, who will arrive in his maroon ’50 Merc, like he drove in “American Graffiti”.

Also speaking will be comedian/singer Steve Rossi (of Allen & Rossi), Hollywood car customizer George Barris (known for his Batmobile and many other movie cars), and renowned sports agent Leigh Steinberg (whose life inspired the Tom Cruise movie “Jerry Maguire”).

On display at the event will be many unique cars and custom motorcycles, as well as DiMora’s classic Clenet luxury cars, which he produced. Car and motorcycle enthusiasts are encouraged to drive your own pride and joy to the event and show it off. The event is free and open to the public, and begins at 11:30 am at the corner of Palm Canyon Drive and Alejo Road.
