Pickerington, OH – Motorcycle enthusiasts around the country can get a head start on holiday shopping by bidding on an exclusive collection of gifts available during the Motorcycle Hall Museum’s annual online auction.
The 2005 holiday auction gift collection ranges from one-of-a-kind vintage and autographed items to today’s most fashionable moto wear and gear. There are even gift items from some of the hottest automotive brands around. All items up for bid have been generously donated by companies and individuals that support the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum’s mission of preservation and education.
One-of-a-kind motorcycle memorabilia range from a “Motocross America” exhibit catalog autographed by legendary champions like Roger DeCoster, Brad Lackey, Dick Burleson and Jeff Emig to 2005 Hall of Fame Induction posters signed by the Class of 2005, including racing stars Scott Russell and Doug Henry. Featured motorcycle art includes a framed and matted limited edition print of the 1919 Harley-Davidson racing team from the A.F. van Order collection. And, there is a wide selection of gear and gifts for your favorite rider, from a Widman Harley-Davidson leather jacket to entries for the 2006 Big Woods Dual Sport ride in Wisconsin.
If there are motorsports fans on your giving list, rev up the wow factor by bidding on items like an Andretti Green Racing team hat signed by Mario, Michael and Marco Andretti, a 2005 Indianapolis 500 hat signed by winning driver Dan Wheldon, or pick up the book Autograph Session – featuring original signatures from Indy Racing League stars like Dario Franchitti. Or, plan on keeping appointments with German punctuality with a high-tech BMW chronograph, courtesy of BMW North America.
The auction also features several exceptional gift choices for women riders. Designed by women for women, Fairchild Sports new G-line is an exceptional collection of ground-breaking riding gear exclusively fitted for female forms in women’s sizes 4 through 18. Combining authentic protection with cutting-edge style, the G-line features armored jackets and pants, including the all-season Del Mar jacket and figure-hugging Bonnie jackets and pants up for bid.
