Napolean, OH. –Six Top Flight Corvettes from ProTeam Classic Corvette Collection and Sales’ collection will vie for prestigious Triple Crown Awards during the Fall Chevy Vettefest Nationals, Nov. 17-18 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill.

Reserved for the best of the best, a Triple Crown Award contender must have first earned National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) Top Flight Certification and Bloomington Gold Certification(r). With these two awards in hand, the Corvette may register for both the Gold Spinner Concours Award and the coveted Triple Crown. If the car meets the stringent standards in the areas of originality, condition and attention to detail for the Gold Spinner Award, it will simultaneously receive the Triple Crown.

During this year’s Vettefest, ProTeam will enter:
* A 1962 almond beige convertible
* A 1965 red/black 396 hp coupe
* A 1965 red Fuelly coupe
* A 1966 red 425 hp convertible
* A 1966 white/red 350 hp convertible
* A 1967 white/green 435 hp convertible

The Triple Crown Award was developed by Chevy/Vettefest Nationals directors and Gold Spinner Concours President Noland Adams as a way to honor those Corvettes that have achieved the most prominent awards.

This year’s Vettefest is produced by Championship Auto Shows Inc. and will be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill. The all-indoor show is expected to feature hundreds Corvettes and Chevrolets in addition to a hosting a swap meet.
