The 1991 Porsche Carrera Convertible previously owned by the late Whitney Houston will be auctioned during the Dan Kruse-Leake Collector Car Show & Auction in San Antonio, April 20-21. The white, soft top convertible has only 53,313 miles. Insurance documentation shows that the car was once registered to Nippy, Inc., one of Miss Houston’s production companies.

The Collector Car Show & Auction will take place in Exposition Hall at the Freeman Coliseum. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and military and $7 for children. Doors open at 9 am daily. The auction will begin at noon on Friday and 10am on Saturday.

The event will feature 300 vehicles including Cadillacs, Corvettes, Camaros, Shelbys, Thunderbirds and other vintage, collector, muscle, custom cars and trucks. More than 5,000 car buyers, sellers and enthusiasts are expected to attend the event.

“Buyers won’t be disappointed at the quality or the quantity of the vehicles we have secured for this auction,” said Richard Sevenoaks, president of Leake Auction Company.  “Our muscle car lineup is very strong; and we will have a wide range of cars that will suit everyone’s tastes.”

A 1968 Shelby GT500 Mustang Convertible with a 428 CI police interceptor V-8 engine. The car was built at Ford’s Metuchen plant on February 23, 1968 and features a rare Acapulco Blue exterior.

1932 Ford Custom Roadster with a 502 CI / 450 HP V-8 engine and an automatic transmission. It was custom built by Bobby Alloway and his crew in 2005.

A unique 1961 Chevrolet Impala Bubble Top Two Door Hardtop featuring a 283 CI Power Pack V-8 engine and a Powerglide transmission.
